Notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting of Newbury Road Club.
The AGM will be held on Wednesday 13th November 2024 at 8pm.
We will be holding the AGM via Zoom, details of which will be sent out by email with the agenda. This is your chance to influence the running of your club, vote on AGM proposals and vote for the appointment of ALL club officers for the coming 12 months. This can be done either in person on the Zoom call or by proxy vote.
If you are interested in putting yourself forward for a position on the Committee, please using the contact form later than 2nd November 2024. All declarations of interest in a position will require to be seconded. There will be no nominations on the night at the AGM as set out in the constitution.

For details about what is involved in any position or if you require a seconder for your proposal, please reach out to the club’s Chair or General Secretary.
A quorum of 20 members or 20% of the membership, whichever is the less (including proxy votes), is required. Please make every effort to attend the Zoom meeting or vote by proxy to ensure we achieve a quorum at the AGM.
If you have any proposals for inclusion on the agenda, or proposed changes to the constitution, then please use the contact form, no later than 2nd November 2024. Do not forget that each proposal must be made by a member of the club and also seconded by a member to be included in the AGM agenda.
The meeting Agenda will be emailed out on 5th November 2024.
No printed copies of the agenda will be sent out.
