NRC members and guests swapped the saddle for the hot seat at our Curry and Quiz evening on Friday 21 October 2022. Ten teams battled it out for prizes and accolades in a tightly fought contest.
Our ever-popular quiz featured rounds of questions on coffee (you would think cyclists should be experts on this subject), music lyrics as well as Halloween, geography and movie themed questions. The quiz was curated by Dave and Lynn Portwood who did an outstanding job of question setting and unimpeachable marking.
Our gratitude goes to them both for providing the quiz, to Lorraine Murrell for organising, and to the staff at The Bowler's Arms for being great hosts and providing a super Curry Banquet.
Congratulations to all those who took part and especially the prize winners. It was great to see so many regular and new members as well as family and friends taking part.
